Kevette Kane believes in the empowerment of entrepreneurship. It is strong small businesses that create better big businesses and serve as the foundation for creating healthy communities. Whether you are a founder or an employee of a growing business, taking ownership of your position and the responsibilities assigned to you is what “doing the work” to accomplish the goals is all about. 

As an entrepreneur herself for the past 25 years she knows first hand the successes and the challenges of business development. She understands that in every business two pillars support healthy growth; continuing education and strong relationships. As a member of the Baltimore City Chamber herself since 2020 she understands the many benefits of membership. Her goal is to support the Chamber in this role as the Center for Business in Baltimore City by ensuring that members are aware of and taking advantage of the many existing member benefits while continuing to increase the opportunities available for both education and relationships.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the illustrious Morgan State University, certification as an Emotional Intelligence Practitioner and certification as a Financial Education Instructor. She grew up in Baltimore from elementary school through college and raised her two boys in the city. She lived in Puerto Rico between 2013-19 and returned to Maryland as a resident of Prince George’s County. However her roots are in Baltimore and her heart is with the community.
